Statement

Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Since childhood, I have been drawing, sketching, and experimenting, driven by a constant need to express the worlds that exist both within and around me. Over the years, what began as daily sketches evolved into a continuous exploration of techniques, mediums, and methods. Each phase of my artistic journey has been about discovery — learning not only new tools and materials, but also new ways of understanding my own vision and translating it into visual form.

My practice today spans a wide range of mediums including acrylic, oil, spray paint, digital illustration and audiovisual. Often blending realism with surreal or cartoon-like elements, to create a dialogue between the familiar and the imagined. This mixture of styles allows me to move fluidly between precision and spontaneity, structure and chaos — much like the way thoughts and emotions shift beneath the surface of daily life.

The themes that guide my art revolve around the inner world and everyday existence. I seek to visualize the quiet moments, contradictions, and emotional currents that define human experience. Whether through a digital piece or a large-scale painting, I aim to reveal something that feels both deeply personal and universally recognizable. My art becomes a space where introspection meets playfulness, where coded systems intersect with organic expression.

Influences from hacker culture, the graffiti scene, and comic art all play significant roles in shaping my approach. Hacker culture, in particular, informs the way I think about creativity as a form of deconstruction and reconstruction — finding hidden possibilities. while graffiti and comics bring in elements of bold color, rhythm, and storytelling. Together, these influences merge into a visual language that reflects the physical reality of modern life.

Recent years have brought new opportunities to share my work with broader audiences. In 2025, my pieces were featured twice in individual exhibitions at Hashtag Gallery Ltd in Mexico City, and for the first time, at Zenith Gallery as part of a collective exhibition. I was also commissioned to create a large-scale portrait of a historic building in the Condesa district of Mexico City — a project that deepened my connection to the city’s evolving visual landscape. Beyond Mexico, my work has reached new contexts through its ongoing feature as being part of private collections in Huddersfield, UK and Waterloo, Canada.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Art from UAEMex (Autonomous University of Mexico State)(2023), a foundation that has strengthened the conceptual and technical depth of my practice. Ultimately, my goal is to keep evolving — to continue exploring how traditional and digital mediums can coexist, how inner worlds can be made visible, and how art can remain a living, breathing reflection of human experience.
